About Us
Douglas James - Guitar/Vocals
“I grew up in Loveland, CO and left after High School to do a brief 25 year stint in the Navy and then the Air Force. I attended the Community College of the Air Force and earned an Associates degree in Criminal Justice, I am currently attending Front Range Community College working toward a AA in Music. Through good times and bad I have always had music to see me through, playing guitar is my meditation. I am extremely excited to have all my focus on music these days!”
Andrea Deepe - Vocals/Kazoo
“I am a proud Colorado native! I attended UNC in Greeley and graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2008, but I have always loved singing! Before our band came together, karaoke was the only time I would sing in public. It wasn’t until after countless open mic nights that I finally gained confidence with singing in front of crowds. I also love playing sports and participating in many outdoor activities.”
Casey Schultz - Drums
“I grew up in Longmont, CO and developed a love for music early on watching my grandpa who was a self-taught pianist. After receiving a drum set for Christmas I began taking lessons throughout Middle School and played in several garage bands before joining 10 Year Echo.”
Guy Keith - Bass Guitar
“I started playing orchestral upright bass at 10 when I was in the 5th grade in Shreveport, Louisiana. I continued until my junior year of High School at which time I transitioned into big band jazz playing electric bass. I have been a part of gigging bands ever since.”
Guy spends his days managing the coffee program for My Office Etc. in Windsor. He is known as “Guy the Coffee Guy,” and provides excellence in office breakroom beverage service from northern Colorado to southern Wyoming.
Kevin Peffer - Keyboard
“I started playing piano at age 8, and eventually started playing hymns for a church in my native rural western Pennsylvania. I also picked up the saxophone, euphonium, and a wife in marching band, and even had a brief stint with the bagpipes. After stops in Nashville and Atlanta, I'm happy to call Colorado home and recently began playing ice hockey”
OUR STORY
During 2016, Andrea was Doug’s fitness trainer. During the fall of that year they discovered each others’ musical talents and decided to collaborate. They began performing at Open Mic Nights all around northern Colorado whenever they could.
In the beginning
After several months playing open mics, we decided we needed to call ourselves something! After brainstorming, we realized that we were all 10 years apart in age. “Echo” by Mandolin Orange is a song we frequently covered as a duo. The name combination had a nice ring to it. We hope that our music continues to echo with our listeners!
